About

With a passion for luxury real estate all throughout South Florida, and a specialized focus in waterfront homes, Angel Nicolas brings dedicated, hands-on service to the discerning real estate clients he serves. He is known and respected for his skill in market study, trend analysis, architecture, lifestyle, and more, and for his unique talent with high-profile individuals. Angel is also Director of the Sports Division at Engel & Völkers, which focuses on providing expert real estate advice to emerging and established professional athletes for such tasks as buying and selling properties, pursuing real estate investments, and more. As a former professional baseball player himself, Angel’s energy and drive come as no surprise. “I know and appreciate the value of hard work,” Angel says. “I find great satisfaction in being able to educate, inform, and empower my clients to maximize their profitability, while also bringing organization and worry-free service to every step of the experience.” As Director of the sports sales division at Engel & Völkers, Angel believes that anything worth doing is worth doing well, which explains his commitment to matching outstanding market intelligence with unmatched listening and understanding. For the luxury markets and elite clientele Angel has served, he has proven himself as a performer time and time again. In fact, he set a new record for highest price per square foot in Coral Gables on a home that he sold within 60 days of it first being listed. He also routinely helps serve current and former athletes across all sports thanks to his ability to immediately understand their needs and establish an instant rapport. Originally from Miami, Angel spent much of his childhood growing up in the Dominican Republic before returning to the city at the age of 13. He then spent the rest of his school-age years in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. He then moved on to Tennessee during college where he attended Freed-Hardeman University. Angel has also lived in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas as part of his years in professional minor-league baseball. Upon moving back to Miami, Angel opened his own personal training company – Quality Fitness, which allowed him to use his own knowledge about human performance and his degrees in exercise science towards helping others achieve their fitness goals. He was also recognized as a Tier 3-plus personal trainer at Equinox Fitness Club, earning the highest sales percentage among the entire 65-person staff. In his free time, Angel devotes volunteer time towards the Chapman Partnership for the homeless, Miami Children’s Hospital, and as a board member for the Cocoplum Homeowners’ Association. Angel is fluent in English and Spanish.
